Inclusion criteria
* Cases of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment complicated by PVR grade C undergoing vitrectomy and silicone oil tamponade.
Exclusion criteria
* History of trauma * Presence of diabetic retinopathy * History of vein occlusion * Giant retinal tear
