* Cases with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment complicated by PVR grade C
Exclusion criteria
* History of pars plana vitrectomy for PVR grade C * History of silicone oil injection * History of ocular trauma * Diabetic retinopathy * Glaucoma * Giant retinal tear
