Inclusion criteria
* Extensive-disease small-cell lung cancer * Aged 70 years or older * Performance status of 0-2 * No prior chemotherapy
Exclusion criteria
* Prior therapy for primary lesion * Pneumonitis and/or pulmonary fibrosis * Active concomitant malignancy
