* Postmenopausal women * Newly diagnosed with non metastatic breast cancer * Candidate for mastectomy or breast-conserving surgery
Exclusion criteria
* Patients with invasive tumors * Patients receiving anti-cancer treatment * Patients who have undergone surgery Other protocol-defined
