Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (i) age = 19 years, clinical diagnosis of idiopathic PD according to the UK Parkinson’s disease Society Brain Bank Diagnostic Criteria (ii) modified Hoehn and Yahr stage 2.5 to 4 (iii) the ability to walk independently on level ground without assistive devices (iv) the presence of gait abnormalities, such as shortened stride length, shuffling gait, or freezing of gait.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (i) a Korean version of the Mini-Mental State Examination score < 24 (ii) neurological or orthopedic disorders other than PD that could affect gait (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury) (iii) severe dyskinesia (iv) severe on-off phenomenon.
