Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Persons who have experienced a severe ankle sprain at least once (2) Persons who determine through self-assessment that they feel ankle instability during physical activity (3) Persons who score less than 25 on the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT) (4) Persons who currently have no other acute injury or symptoms

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Persons with a history of leg surgery or fracture (2) Persons with musculoskeletal injury to the leg within the past 6 months (3) In the case of subjects with chronic ankle instability, persons who have suffered an ankle sprain or received treatment for a musculoskeletal or neurological disorder within the past 3 months
