Drug : In the dexmedetomidine group, sedation will be induced with an intravenous loading dose of 1 µg/kg administered over 10 minutes, followed by a continuous infusion at a maintenance dose of 0.2–0

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A patient scheduled for transcatheter aortic valve replacement under monitored anesthesia care.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Age under 19 or over 100 years (2) Pregnant women (3) Allergy or contraindication to the study drugs (4) Preoperative mental status not alert or inability to communicate (5) Morbid obesity with a body mass index (BMI) exceeding 35 kg/m² (6) ASA physical status classification V or higher (7) Use of vasopressors or hemodynamic support devices (e.g., IABP, ECMO, pacemaker) (8) Refusal to participate in the study
