Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for a percutaneous renal biopsy to elucidate the underlying etiology of hematuria and/or proteinuria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?under 19 years of age, patients whose edema is determined to be caused by reasons other than the kidney disease (such as liver cirrhosis or congestive heart failure), CKD Stage 5.

Apical translocation and Cleavage of ENaC : Apical membrane ENaC immunoreactivity intensity score (H-score) and proteolytic cleavage rate using a ??Immunohistochemistry;?Urinary Plasmin concentration : The absolute concentration of plasmin in the urine samples, normalized by urinary creatinine, measured via an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit.
