Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Adults with unilateral ankle instability affecting either the right or left ankle (2) Individuals with a history of at least one significant ankle sprain, with the initial sprain occurring at least 12 months before study enrollment (3) Adults who regularly participate in routine physical activity (4) Individuals who experience a feeling of instability, recurrent ankle sprains, or episodes of giving way in the injured ankle (5) Individuals with no previous experience of taping intervention (6) Individuals who experience ankle discomfort during daily activities or walking (7) Individuals with a Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT) score of 24 or lower
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Individuals with bilateral ankle instability or a history of bilateral ankle sprains (2) Individuals with a history of lower-extremity fracture or surgery (3) Professional athletes or individuals with a predominantly sedentary lifestyle (4) Individuals with a central nervous system disorder or vestibular disorder (5) Individuals with a history of allergy to taping
