Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Selection Criteria for Subjects with Depressive Disorder - Adults aged 19 to 40 who meet the diagnostic criteria for Major Depressive Disorder or Persistent Depressive Disorder as defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) - Only subjects identified as having Mild Depressive Disorder by Kyungpook National University Hospital and transferred to the Korea Brain Research Institute were included. - All subjects must voluntarily participate. - Must have sufficient cognitive function to follow the researcher's instructions. 2) Selection Criteria for Healthy Adult Subjects - Adults aged 19 to 40 who do not currently have a neurological or psychiatric disorder and have not been previously diagnosed with such a disorder. - All subjects must voluntarily participate. - Must have sufficient cognitive function to follow the researcher's instructions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Exclusion Criteria for Subjects with Depressive Disorder - Subjects at risk of suicide or suffering from a serious illness - Subjects were excluded from Kyungpook National University Hospital, which referred subjects with depressive disorder, because depressive disorder was not the primary diagnosis or because the symptoms of a coexisting psychiatric disorder were deemed moderate or severe enough to significantly impact the study. - Limited cognitive function for consent and research: Severe head trauma, obvious cognitive decline, or severe medical conditions that make research difficult. - Restrictions on fNIRS, EEG, and Eye-Tracker measurements: Subjects with claustrophobia (To ensure accurate data, fNIRS, EEG, and Eye-Tracker measurements will be conducted in a soundproof booth that blocks external noise.) - Subjects with hearing, visual, or cognitive impairments that make it difficult to use research digital equipment and content - Subjects are pregnant or may be pregnant - Subjects are deemed unsuitable for clinical research for other reasons 2) Exclusion Criteria for Healthy Adult Subjects - Subjects at risk of suicide or suffering from a serious illness - Presence of psychiatric symptoms or a previous psychiatric diagnosis - Limited cognitive function for consent and research: severe head trauma, obvious cognitive decline, or severe medical conditions that make research difficult - Restrictions on fNIRS, EEG, and eye-tracker measurements: claustrophobia (To ensure accurate data, fNIRS, EEG, and eye-tracker measurements will be conducted in a soundproof booth that blocks external noise.) - Hearing, visual, or cognitive impairments that make it difficult to use research digital equipment and content - Pregnancy or possible pregnancy - Subjects deemed unsuitable for clinical research participation for other reasons
