Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Care Recipients - Residents of nursing facilities, community-dwelling older adults, home-living older adults living alone, and home-living individuals with disabilities - Require assistance when walking on uneven surfaces, need observation during walking, or require intermittent one-person assistance for balance or coordination (Functional Ambulation Category 2–4) - Able to communicate and respond to questionnaires Caregivers - Adults aged 18 or older providing care to the above participants, including nurses, care workers, disability support workers, home support staff, caregivers, or family members

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Care Recipients - Bedridden individuals - Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, hemiplegia, or severe osteoarthritis causing pain during walking (NRS = 7) - Physical deformities preventing the use of a gait-assistance robot - Participating in other studies that may influence gait assistance Caregivers - Participating in other studies that may affect caregiver burden
