Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adults aged 19 years or older 2) Patients who maintained fasting for at least 8 hours before surgery 3) Patients with intact gag reflexes, clear consciousness, and ability to communicate 4) Patients who provided written informed consent after receiving an explanation of the study purpose and procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with a history of allergy or adverse reactions to essential oils 2) Patients with oral inflammation or dental problems 3) Pregnant or breastfeeding women
