Behavioral : The intervention in this study is a nursing simulation education program using an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven standardized patient in a virtual reality (VR) environment. Participa
therefore, there is no separate control group or comparison between intervention groups. All participants receive the same VR AI standardized patient simulation program.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Second-year undergraduate nursing students enrolled in a four-year university in Korea Individuals who are able to understand and respond to Korean-language study information and questionnaires Individuals who voluntarily provide written informed consent after receiving an explanation of the study purpose and procedures Individuals without medical contraindications to wearing a VR headset

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with visual or hearing impairments that substantially interfere with participation in VR-based and voice-interaction learning activities Individuals with a history of severe motion sickness, cybersickness, epilepsy, or neurological disorders that may worsen with VR exposure Individuals who participated in VR-based nursing simulation research within the previous 6 months
