Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Family members of patients who have been admitted to a psychiatric closed ward for the first time. 2) Individuals aged 19 years or older who voluntarily agree to participate in the study. 3) Individuals who either live with the patient or maintain regular contact with the patient for caregiving purposes. 4) Individuals who understand the purpose and content of the study and are able to sufficiently express their experiences before and after the patient’s hospitalization.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded from the study if they meet any of the following criteria: 1) Individuals who do not meet the above inclusion criteria. 2) Family members of patients who have previously been admitted to another psychiatric ward. 3) Individuals diagnosed with psychiatric conditions such as dementia or alcohol abuse. 4) Individuals who do not agree to participate in the study and therefore do not take part in the interview.
