Interventions

Behavioral : Experimental group (thoracic rotation exercise group): Participants will perform thoracic rotation exercises in a kneeling position. Control group (cervical stabilization exercise group):

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Participants with a craniovertebral angle (CVA) of 51° or less. (2) Participants who have experienced persistent nonspecific neck pain for at least 3 months. (3) Participants with a neck pain intensity score between 3 and 6 on the Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS). (4) Participants who fully understand the purpose and procedures of the study and voluntarily agree to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) History of trauma or surgery involving the cervical or thoracic spine. (2) Presence of whiplash injury or neurological abnormalities. (3) Radiating pain to the upper extremities. (4) Cervical myelopathy or cervical radiculopathy. (5) Positive Lhermitte's sign. (6) Vascular disorders in the head and neck region. (7) Red flag conditions such as fracture, tumor, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, or metabolic diseases. (8 )Hypertension. (9 )History of long-term corticosteroid use. (10)Signs of central nervous system abnormalities (e.g., hyperreflexia, sensory deficits, hand muscle atrophy, nystagmus, visual impairment, or pathological reflexes). (11)Individuals with psychiatric disorders or inability to understand study instructions.
