Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Undergoing transurethral resection of bladder tumor 2) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i) Patients with severe systemic disease classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status = 3 ii) Patients with allergy to any study medication iii) Patients with urinary retention or overactive bladder (urinary frequency >3 times/night or >8 times/24 h) iv) Patients with epilepsy, seizure disorder, myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, heart failure, renal or hepatic disease, or current use of monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors v) Patients with angle-closure glaucoma vi) Patients with a history of drug or alcohol abuse vii) Patients receiving opioid or sedative therapy viii) Patients with hypersensitivity to anesthetic agents used in the study ix) Patients with morbid obesity (body mass index >30 kg/m²) x) Pregnant or breastfeeding women xi) Patients with chronic pain, neurologic disorders, or psychiatric disorders
