Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged 30 or older with periodontal disease Individuals diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes (HbA1c = 6.5%) Patients without major diabetic complications Individuals managed with oral hypoglycemic agents (excluding those on direct insulin therapy) Individuals with no history of systemic antibiotic administration or periodontal treatment within the past 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Users of immunosuppressants, steroids, hydantoin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) Pregnant women Individuals with fixed orthodontic appliances Those who refuse or fail to provide informed consent Individuals aged 29 or younger
