Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Patients aged 65 years or older ? Patients with chronic dizziness and balance impairment who have not been diagnosed with peripheral vestibular disorders

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Patients diagnosed with peripheral vestibular disorders such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, or Ménière’s disease ? Patients diagnosed with central nervous system disorders (e.g., brain tumor) ? Patients currently taking medications for cognitive impairment, panic disorder, or depression (e.g., donepezil [Aricept]) ? Patients with contraindications to nicergoline (e.g., history of allergic reaction to nicergoline), myocardial infarction or heart failure, severe hypotension, stroke or cerebral hemorrhage, or inability to receive an appropriate dose due to impaired renal function ? Patients with a history of hyperuricemia or gout
