Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 65 years or older Clinical Frailty Scale 5 or higher at the time of admission Patients admitted via outpatient clinics for elective gastrointestinal or colorectal surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cases where primary outcome data (e.g., length of stay) are missing at the time of data extraction, making analysis impossible. Patients admitted via the emergency department or those undergoing emergency surgery.
