Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Scheduled for fixed orthodontic treatment using the same bracket system (Empower Clear) Possession of at least 20 natural teeth Able to provide written informed consent Able to complete 6-month follow-up Stable general health status

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Antibiotic use within the past 1 month Uncontrolled systemic disease (diabetes with HbA1c >9%, immunosuppressed state) Currently pregnant or breastfeeding Planning pregnancy within the next 6 months Long-term use of medications causing xerostomia (e.g., antihistamines, antidepressants)
