Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Students who transferred into the Department of Nursing at Gangdong University, were aged 20 years or older, fully understood the purpose and procedures of the study after receiving sufficient explanation, and voluntarily provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included students who were currently on a leave of absence, had prior experience with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or a similar psychological intervention program, were receiving ongoing psychotherapy at another institution, were identified as high-risk individuals requiring immediate medical intervention, had severe physical illness, cognitive impairment, or communication difficulties that could hinder participation in the study, or were taking the researcher’s course or receiving academic advising from the researcher.
