Interventions

Behavioral : The experimental group will receive a nurse-led stroke rehabilitation education program based on Roy’s Adaptation Model in addition to usual rehabilitation care provided by the hospital.
however, only the experimental group will additionally receive the nurse-led stroke rehabilitation education program based on Roy’s Adaptation Model.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adults aged 19 years or older 2) Patients diagnosed with stroke who are hospitalized and within 7 days of stroke onset (acute phase) 3) Patients with a K-MMSE (Korean Mini-Mental State Examination) score of 18 or higher, who are able to understand the educational content and participate in the intervention and questionnaire assessment 4) Patients who understand the purpose of the study and provide voluntary written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with severe motor impairment that prevents them from performing the required exercise tasks 2) Patients with aphasia or decreased level of consciousness who are unable to communicate or respond to questions 3) Patients with severe medical conditions or complications, such as severe cardiac disease, hepatic or renal dysfunction, or malignant tumors, that would interfere with participation in rehabilitation
