Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were as follows: 1) Individuals who agreed to participate in the study 2) Individuals who voluntarily provided written informed consent 3) Patients aged 20 to under 80 years (n=36; 16 males and 20 females) 4) Individuals capable of performing functional assessments 5) Individuals diagnosed with chronic ankle instability based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were as follows: 1) Individuals who had undergone orthopedic surgery within the past 3 months 2) Individuals with metabolic bone disease 3) Individuals with severe psychiatric disorders 4) Individuals diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis
