Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 20 to 75 years with trigeminal neuralgia or hemifacial spasm who are scheduled to undergo elective microvascular decompression under general anesthesia, and who are classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I–III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with known allergy or contraindication to the study drugs (2) Patients with obesity defined as a body mass index (BMI) = 35 kg/m² (3) Patients who have received antiemetic medication prior to surgery (4) Patients with chronic use of benzodiazepines or opioids (5) Patients with hepatic failure (6) Patients who do not provide consent for study participation
