Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Outpatients who visited the Stroke and Brain Disease Center at Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital between March 1, 2020, and May 31, 2025. Patients who were co-administered a total daily dose of 600 mg Chunghyul-dan with either 300 mg or 600 mg of Geopung-dan for at least one month. Patients who underwent at least one follow-up measurement of the Cardio-Ankle Vascular Index (CAVI) during their outpatient visits. Patients whose baseline CAVI values, measured prior to the initial administration, exceeded 8.0 on both the right and left sides.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of liver disease. Patients with a history of kidney disease. Pregnant women. Patients with incomplete medical records, where essential information—such as diagnosis, chief complaints, or past medical history—is missing or unverifiable.
