Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: · Participants will be selected among adult men and women aged 19–64 years who meet at least one of the following criteria at the screening visit: ? Overweight or obesity: body mass index (BMI) = 23 kg/m² (based on the criteria of the Korean Society for the Study of Obesity) ? Presence of at least one metabolic syndrome risk factor [Metabolic syndrome risk factors] (1) Fasting glucose = 100 mg/dL or current use of glucose-lowering medication (2) Waist circumference = 90 cm in men or = 85 cm in women (3) Blood pressure: systolic = 130 mmHg or diastolic = 85 mmHg, or current use of antihypertensive medication (4) Triglycerides = 150 mg/dL at recent health examination or current use of lipid-lowering medication (5) HDL-cholesterol: < 40 mg/dL in men or < 50 mg/dL in women at recent health examination, or current use of lipid-lowering medication

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: · Individuals with diagnosed chronic diseases requiring ongoing treatment, such as coronary artery disease, stroke, liver disease, cancer, or other serious conditions · Individuals with a history within the past 3 months of surgery (including ophthalmic, open-heart, or abdominal surgery), myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, pneumothorax, retinal detachment, or aortic aneurysm · Pregnant or lactating women, or any individual judged by the investigator to be inappropriate for participation in this study
