Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: History of at least one lateral ankle sprain within the past 12 months; Identification of Functional Ankle Instability (IdFAI) score = 11; Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT) score = 24; Engagement in regular running activities for at least 6 months; Adults aged 18 years or older who voluntarily agreed to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they had any acute musculoskeletal injury within the past 3 months, a history of lower extremity surgery or fracture, neurological or vestibular disorders, cardiovascular contraindications to blood flow restriction training, pregnancy, or any medical or psychological condition that could interfere with study participation.
