Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Spontaneous amenorrhea in the past 12 months or 6 months with a serum FSH concentration exceeding 40 mIU/mLf 2. 8-hour fasting blood glucose of 100-125 mg/dL or glycated hemoglobin of 5.7-6.4%, or 2-hour plasma glucose of 140-199 mg/dL after a 75-g oral glucose load

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: If participants have been diagnosed with diabetes, are taking diabetes medication or have taken it within the past year, have had a hysterectomy and thus cannot accurately determine your menopausal status. If participants have been diagnosed with or are receiving treatment for a malignant tumor, are taking medications that affect blood sugar (steroids, anticancer drugs, etc.), or are taking medications that affect weight. If you are taking medications that the research team believes may affect the results of this study.
