Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ? Adults aged 18–80 years ? Individuals who meet at least one of the following: Patient group: Those diagnosed with gastric cancer or gastric adenoma who undergo upper gastrointestinal endoscopy or therapeutic endoscopy. Control group: Those who undergo upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for routine screening or gastrointestinal symptoms, or those who undergo endoscopic resection for non-neoplastic polyps (e.g., hyperplastic polyps). ? Participants who provide written informed consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ? History of other malignancies ? Use of antibiotics within the past 4 weeks or current use of live biotherapeutic products (probiotics) ? Uncontrolled chronic diseases (including diabetes mellitus, alcohol dependence, and psychiatric disorders) ? History of gastrointestinal or biliary surgery (e.g., surgery of the stomach, small intestine, colon, or gallbladder) ? Refusal or inability to provide informed consent to participate in the study
