Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i) Children aged 2–8 years undergoing strabismus surgery under general anesthesia. ii) American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification I–II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i) Children with severe systemic disease classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status III or higher. ii) Children whose legal guardians do not consent to the procedure. ?iii) Children with a history of hypersensitivity to the study drugs. ?iv) Children with psychiatric disorders or developmental disabilities. ?v) Children with a history of pediatric diabetes or those currently receiving treatment for diabetes.
