Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Patients who were hospitalized and treated for burn injuries at Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital -Patients with subacute burn injuries who achieved complete wound re-epithelialization through sterile wound care or skin graft surgery -Adult patients aged 19 to 65 years at the time of evaluation -Patients who participated in a previous microbiome study and had available skin microbiome data from burn scar sites -Patients with accessible clinical and skin assessment data through medical record review
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -Patients with a history of systemic or topical antibiotic or steroid use within two weeks prior to evaluation -Patients with chronic skin diseases that may affect the skin microbiome (e.g., atopic dermatitis, psoriasis) -Patients with severe systemic diseases, including diabetes mellitus, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, liver cirrhosis, or chronic lung disease -Patients with contraindications to hyperbaric oxygen therapy, such as pneumothorax, emphysema, sinusitis, otitis media, alveolar injury, acute respiratory infection, or obstructive pulmonary disease -Patients diagnosed with electrical burns -Patients deemed inappropriate for study inclusion based on the investigator’s judgment
