Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria Adults aged 18 years or older who were diagnosed with cardiovascular disease and underwent cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) at our institution between January 2019 and December 2021, with documented peak oxygen uptake (VO2peak) values Availability of demographic and anthropometric data in the medical records, including age, sex, height, and body weight Patients who were enrolled in a cardiac rehabilitation program following cardiac surgery or cardiac intervention Completion of the SF-12 questionnaire at the initiation of the cardiac rehabilitation program Availability of medical record documentation regarding participation in the cardiac rehabilitation program and functional assessment outcomes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria Inability to perform CPET or premature termination of the test resulting in an inability to obtain valid VO2peak values Presence of missing data for key variables required for the study analysis Documented refusal of research use of medical records in accordance with IRB approval Incomplete or missing SF-12 questionnaire data Lack of documented records on participation in the cardiac rehabilitation program or functional outcome measures, rendering analysis infeasible Missing major clinical variables that preclude appropriate statistical analysis
