Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged =40 living in Gyeongsangnam-do 2. Voluntarily consent and sign the written informed consent 3. Diagnosed with diabetes for =1 year 4. Able to use self-monitoring blood glucose (SMBG) devices 5. Regularly consume =100 g/day of white rice 6. Regularly visit community pharmacies for prescriptions and diabetes counseling 7. Able to complete SMBG, dietary, and lifestyle questionnaires

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Currently participating in another clinical trial 2. Chronic alcohol dependence or high addiction tendency 3. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, those who gave birth within 12 months, or those planning pregnancy during the study
