Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients aged 19–64 years scheduled for elective noncardiac surgery requiring general anesthesia with tracheal intubation. 2.Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification of I or II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with an anticipated difficult tracheal intubation Patients with psychiatric disorders Patients with cognitive impairment Patients with heart failure or a history of myocardial infarction within the past 6 months Patients with severe arrhythmias Patients with severe pulmonary disease Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to remimazolam or fentanyl Pregnant or breastfeeding women Any other condition deemed inappropriate for study participation by the investigator
