Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Children and adolescents aged 10 to 19years at the time of study participation 2. Identified as having suicidal ideation or self-harm risk during school-based psychological support services 3. Provision of written informed consent by a legal guardian and assent by the participant 4. Determined by school and clinical professionals to be appropriate for outpatient psychological intervention
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Acute risk status requiring immediate hospitalization or emergency intervention at enrollment History of hospitalization for suicidal behavior lasting longer than 1 month, or a current condition requiring inpatient care More than 1 year of psychiatric medication treatment for chronic psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, or ADHD before enrollment Enrollment in a special school or special education class due to developmental disability or autism spectrum condition Receipt of sandplay therapy or a similar play therapy within 2 months before referral Failure to obtain informed consent/assent
