Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who sustained a unilateral proximal femoral or hip fracture and were treated with intramedullary nailing

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who were bedridden preoperatively and remained non-ambulatory postoperatively, rendering outcome scoring infeasible; (2) Patients who failed to complete all three sessions of ESWT; (3) Patients who missed postoperative outpatient follow-up visits; (4) Any other patients deemed unsuitable for the study by the principal investigator (JHH) based on clinical judgment
