Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Between April 2021 and February 2023, 60 patients underwent surgery for colorectal cancer in Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center. Patients aged 20 to 80 years who were scheduled for the first surgery of the day were included in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: emergency surgery, bowel obstruction or stenosis, surgery for recurrent colorectal cancer, and bowel resection combined with resection of other organs.
