Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 years or older who have been diagnosed with liver disease (chronic hepatitis, compensated or decompensated cirrhosis, or hepatocellular carcinoma) at International St. Mary’s Hospital and are undergoing treatment or follow-up evaluation Individuals for whom sufficient clinical information—such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and histological examinations—is available to assess the diagnosis and severity of liver disease Individuals who voluntarily provide written informed consent to participate in the study (for prospective participants only)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who have taken antibiotics, immunosuppressants, or corticosteroids within the past 3 months and may have potential alterations in immune or metabolic function Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding Individuals deemed medically or ethically unsuitable for participation in the study
