Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants include individuals aged 18 years or older who are residents of Seoul or university (or graduate school) students in Seoul. Eligible participants are those who have smoked at least 100 conventional cigarettes in their lifetime and have smoked at least one cigarette in the past month, or have used e-cigarettes (liquid or heated tobacco products) at least 100 times in their lifetime and have used them at least once in the past month; own and use a personal smartphone; and understand the purpose of the study and provide consent to participate in the survey.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who are concurrently using nicotine replacement therapy or pharmacological smoking cessation treatments (e.g., nicotine patches, bupropion) are excluded.
