Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Elderly patients aged 70 years or older. 2. Patients scheduled for major elective cancer surgery. 3. Patients who voluntarily agree to participate in the study and sign the written informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a pre-existing diagnosis of dementia or major neurocognitive disorders identified at the time of screening or in medical records. 2. Patients presenting with delirium at the time of consent. 3. Patients undergoing emergency surgery. 4. Patients with a life expectancy of less than 3 months due to terminal metastatic cancer, or those receiving palliative care prior to surgery.
