Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for adults aged 20–40 years diagnosed with PFPS and with a body mass index (BMI) below 25 kg/m² were as follows: Experiencing anterior knee pain in three or more activities such as stair climbing, stair descending, squatting, prolonged sitting, or running. Having anterior knee pain (P-VAS = 3) for at least 8 weeks prior to the study. Demonstrating functional deficits of the patellofemoral joint, with a Kujala Patellofemoral Score (KPS) between 50 and 79.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with a history of knee surgery Individuals with a history of knee dislocation Individuals with other conditions that may affect gait Individuals with neurological impairments Individuals who have performed strength training or rehabilitation exercises within the past three months
