Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study population consisted of patients diagnosed with hemiplegia resulting from stroke, as confirmed by MRI or CT findings, who were admitted to a convalescent rehabilitation hospital within 3 months after stroke onset. Participants were included if they had an inpatient period of less than 6 months and complete, verifiable medical records related to stroke.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following patients were excluded from this study: those with cardiac diseases or implanted pacemakers, and those with chronic medical conditions such as renal failure, cancer, or immune disorders that could significantly influence study outcomes. Patients with neurological disorders other than stroke, severe orthopedic conditions such as multiple fractures, or those who experienced recurrent hemorrhage or reinfarction after the initial stroke diagnosis were also excluded.
