Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants will be middle-aged women aged 50 years or older but younger than 65 years who have been diagnosed with degenerative knee osteoarthritis (Kellgren–Lawrence grade II–III) by an orthopedic specialist and recommended exercise therapy under medical supervision. Eligible participants must have no other musculoskeletal disorders besides knee osteoarthritis. Participants must be able to walk independently on stairs. All participants must voluntarily agree to participate after fully understanding the study’s purpose and procedures.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Received intra-articular knee injection treatment within the past three months (to prevent interference from residual treatment effects). Have a history of knee surgery. Have serious cardiovascular diseases (such as heart failure or myocardial infarction) or a history of neurological or psychiatric disorders (for participant safety). Experience severe pain or inflammation that would make participation in the exercise program impossible. Have other underlying health conditions, such as chronic pulmonary disease, bipolar disorder, or a history of surgical procedures within the past six months.
