Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) diagnosis of hemiplegia secondary to stroke, with onset at least six months prior to the study (2) ability to walk independently for a distance of at least 10 meters without the use of assistive devices (3) a score of 24 or higher on the Korean Mini-Mental State Examination (K-MMSE) (4) a score between 1 and 2 on the Modified Ashworth Scale for the ankle joint (5) stable vital signs.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) a history of botulinum toxin injection in the lower extremities (2) current use of medications that may affect balance or gait, such as antidepressants, anxiolytics, or antihistamines (3) a Berg Balance Scale score of 20 or lower (4) presence of sensory deficits in the lower extremities.
