Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 19 years or older who were admitted to the departments of neurosurgery or general surgery at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital in Seoul and Gil Medical Center in Incheon, underwent neurosurgical lumbar surgery or general abdominal surgery, and agreed to participate in the study. 2. Patients without pre-existing skin damage such as erythema, burns, or dermatological conditions at the surgical site at the time of admission. 3. Patients admitted for neurosurgical, orthopedic, general surgical, or urological procedures who received wound dressings using medical adhesives after surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who did not agree to participate in the study. 2. Patients who had pre-existing skin damage, such as erythema, burns, or dermatological conditions, at the surgical site at the time of admission.
