Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients aged 18 years or older 2) Patients with rectal cancer at clinical stage T3, T4, or with lymph node metastasis 3) Individuals who have undergone chemoradiation followed by anterior resection and ileostomy construction 4) Individuals who voluntarily agree to participate in this trial and have signed a written consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients previously diagnosed with or suspected of having inflammatory bowel disease 2) Patients for whom surgical treatment is contraindicated due to other medical conditions 3) Patients with difficulties in ileostomy restoration due to complications such as anastomotic leakage or obstruction
