Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants in this study were healthy children aged between 10 and 12 years. Eligible participants had not engaged in any regular exercise program within the past six months and had no prior experience with speed skating or similar skating activities. Only children who fully understood the purpose and procedures of the study and obtained written informed consent from their legal guardians were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children younger than 10 years or older than 12 years were excluded from this study. Participants without legal guardian consent, those with a body mass index (BMI) = 25 kg/m², and those with musculoskeletal disorders or other clinical conditions that could hinder participation in group exercise programs were also excluded. In addition, children who had regularly participated in a structured exercise program within the past six months or had any conflict of interest with the investigators were not included in the study.
