Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with type 2 diabetes aged between 45 and 65 years who use a smartphone, have a documented hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level of =6.5% within the 12 months prior to study initiation, and have a history of taking two or more classes of antidiabetic medications within the past year.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients will be excluded if they have taken fewer than two classes of antidiabetic medications within the past year, have type 1 diabetes, are currently receiving insulin therapy, are unable to adequately use a smartphone or mobile applications despite meeting other inclusion criteria, are unable to walk or have significant difficulty engaging in physical activity, do not use a smartphone, or experience skin allergic reactions, injuries, or other adverse effects from the attachment of a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) device that hinder continued participation in the study.
