Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 19 years or older 2. Individuals who prefer or consume noodles or bread as a staple food at least once a day over rice 3. Individuals with BMI = 25 kg/m², or body fat percentage = 25% for men and = 30% for women 4. Participants or their legal representatives who have provided written informed consent approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with a history of weight loss medication or participation in other weight loss programs within the past 6 months 2. Individuals who experienced weight change of =3kg within the last 6 months prior to the study 3. Individuals currently using medications such as insulin or sulfonylureas that can cause hypoglycemia 4. Concomitant use of contraindicated medications: individuals taking medications that may affect body weight, such as obesity treatments, oral steroids, hormonal preparations, weight management health supplements (however, participation allowed if stable body weight maintained for >6 months with: antidepressants, antipsychotic drugs, antiarrhythmics, diabetes medications, antihistamines) 5. Individuals with prior bariatric surgery 6. Presence of eating disorders such as binge eating disorder, bulimia, or anorexia, or cases of food allergies 7. Cases of alcohol use disorder
