Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adults aged 18 years or older 2) Patients requiring bilateral mandibular premolar extraction for ideal orthodontic alignment. 3) Presence of adjacent teeth on both sides of the extraction sites. 4) Patients who have received basic periodontal treatment such as scaling and root planing prior to extraction. 5) Patients who provided informed consent and signed the study participation agreement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnancy or lactation 2) Diabetes 3) Smoking =10 cigarettes/day 4) Use of immunosuppressants or drugs causing gingival overgrowth 5) mental illness 6) Allergy to xenogenic bone graft materials or collagen membranes 7) Missing or concurrently extracted adjacent teeth 8) Mobility or periodontal pocket depth >4 mm of adjacent teeth 9) Any other condition deemed inappropriate for participation by the investigator due to ethical or clinical concerns
